Students needing to take exit-level state exams will have an opportunity to take re-tests, which will be administered at Granbury High School and STARS Academy on July 14-17, 2009. 

These tests are also open to individuals who have completed all graduation requirements but have not mastered all sections of the TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) or the TAAS (Texas Assessment of Academic Skills).  This includes individuals who are no longer enrolled in Texas public schools.

Only those students who are out of school or out of district must register.  Although the deadline for online registration has passed, these individuals may register on the day of the exam.

The tests will be administered according to the following schedules:

On the day(s) of testing, individuals should arrive at the test site thirty minutes prior to the designated testing time.  Individuals must have picture identification, such as a driver’s license, DPS identification card, military identification card, school identification card, or resident alien card.  Those without appropriate picture identification cannot take the test.
