Students needing to take exit-level state exams will have an opportunity to take re-tests, which will be administered at Granbury High School and STARS Academy on July 13-16, 2010. 


These tests are also open to individuals who have completed all graduation requirements but have not mastered all sections of the TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills).  This includes individuals who are no longer enrolled in Texas public schools.  Former TAAS and TEAMS examinees will take the TAKS exit level tests.


Only those students who are out of school or out of district must register.  Online registration is now open at  Registration packets can be picked up from the counseling office at Granbury High School, STARS Academy, or the GISD curriculum department located in the Administration Annex at 600 W. Bridge Street.  Online registration must be complete or the registration form received by June 11, 2010.

Tuesday, July 13

English/Language Arts

Wednesday, July 14


Thursday, July 15


Friday, July 16

Social Studies


On the day(s) of testing, individuals should arrive at the test site thirty minutes prior to the designated testing time.  Individuals must have picture identification, such as a driver’s license, DPS identification card, military identification card, school identification card, or resident alien card.  Those without appropriate picture identification cannot take the test.
