Pirate basketball player Taylor Dollins will be joining several Granbury classmates when he continues his education and playing career at Howard Payne University in Brownwood next season.

Dollins, a member of the varsity squad for two years, received second-team All-District honors following the 2009-10 season.

He will be joining 2009 GHS graduates Daniel Bubel, Kanyon Payne, and Ross Whittet at Howard Payne.  Classmates Talyne Bitner, Travis Fair, and Jesse Hernandez are also planning to attend the school to play football.

The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets compete in the American Southwest Conference, a part of the NCAA Division III.
