Granbury High School audio-visual technology students recently placed at the 2nd Annual Tri-County Film Festival.
Winning awards among over fifty entries at the festival were:

Public Service Announcement: “Pete Jones – AV Class” – Lucas Berry, Kyle Mayles, Colton McDill, second.

Comedy: “Pepsi Max” – Matthew Cisneros, Preston Chapman, Alexis Hackney, third.
Hosted by Alvarado ISD, the festival featured projects by students in grades 7-12 attending school in Hood, Johnson, and Somervell counties. Students could work as teams with no more than four members to enter the genre categories of comedy, documentary, drama, and PSA. Videos were limited to ten minutes and had to be presented in designated formats.
All projects, include the winning entries, were screened during an awards ceremony held May 31, 2011, at Alvarado High School.
