CHOIRS DAZZLE CROWD WITH TRIP TO THE BEACH

It was a trip to the beach on October 8, 2011, as choir students from Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center performed a dinner theater to a huge crowd at the GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center. 

 

The high school choir, under the direction of Joy Hope, performed several songs including “Good Vibrations,” “Wishin’ and Hopin’,” “Sealed with a Kiss,” “Wipe Out,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “Land of a Thousand Dances,” and “Shout.”

 

Led by Randall Walters, Crossland choir students began the program with hits such as “California Dreamin’, “One Fine Day,” ”Barbara Ann,” and “Help Me Rhonda.”

 

GHS choir members singing solos or in ensembles were Blake Bridges, Cody Bridges, Christian Carvajal, Brent Condit, Blair Cowden, Katie Fee, Brooke Goodson, Ryan Grant, Miranda Mhoon, Zach Payne, Abby Ritchmond, Tori Townsend, and Carley White.

 

Freshman soloists were Blake Bergeman, Mandy Brenning, Kennedy Brown, Krysta Caudle, Trace Chiappe, Brady Dean, Jessica English, Brandi Gray, Katrice Johnson, Kelly Kollman, Kinsley Mauch, Tiffany Pilgrim, Zach Ruiz, Deanna Rupp, Nick Sandelin, Madison Seymore, Jaylee Wells, Kaleb Wilson, Skylar Woodward.

 

Instrumentalists were Jeremy Bowen, Christine Bridges, Greg Doss, Tim Hope, and Cathy Terrel.  Manning the sound and light boards were Phil Groeschel, Dylan Krebbs, and Bob Peacock.
