GRANBURY FINE ARTS GROUPS HOSTING HOLIDAY CONCERTS

Granbury band and choir students will be helping people get into the holiday spirit during concerts in December 2011 featuring Christmas songs and other winter holiday music.

 

Sixth graders and other beginning band and choir students at Acton Middle School held their holiday concert on November 29.

 

Holiday The schedule for upcoming performances is:

 

Monday, December 5

 

7:30 P.M. – Acton Middle School and Granbury Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Choirs (at GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center)

 

Tuesday, December 6

 

5:00 P.M. – Granbury Middle School 6th Grade Choir (at GMS cafeteria)

7:30 P.M. – Granbury Middle School Beginner Band (at GMS cafeteria)

 

Monday, December 12

 

7:30 – Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center Choirs (at GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center)

 

Tuesday, December 13

 

7:00 – Granbury High School Band (at GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center)

 

Thursday, December 15

 

7:00 P.M. – Acton Middle School Concert and Symphonic Bands (at AMS cafeteria)

7:30 P.M. – Granbury Middle School Concert and Symphonic Bands (at GMS cafeteria)

Choir students are under the direction of:  GHS – Joy Hope and Greg Doss; Crossland and GMS – Randall Walters and Cathy Terrel; AMS – Christine Bridges and Bob Peacock.  Band directors are:  GHS – Mark Eastin and Tahlequah Kirk; AMS – John Morgan and Scott Johnson; GMS – Tim Stevens and Roger Ramsey.
