SEASON ENDS FOR PIRATES IN BI-DISTRICT PLAYOFF

Pirate Soccer  
 
The season came to end for the Pirate soccer team following a 1-2 loss to Burleson in the Class 4A bi-district playoff game on March 30, 2012, at Aledo Bearcat Stadium.
 
The Pirates won the District 15-4A title for the fourth-straight season.
 
Varsity team members were Scott Baker, ChristianCarnes, Erick Espinosa, Dylan Francis, Erick Garcia, Aaron Gentry, Shaun Gomez, Taylor Green, Ryan Hammonds, Edgar Hernandez, Michael Horn, Tyler McKenzie, Julio Moreno, Zach Oakley, Zach Payne, J.P. Perriello, Matt Rose, Thomas Schloeman, and Patrick Vasquez.
 
Junior varsity players moving up for the post-season were Jacob Dyson and Kaleb Wilson.
 
Head coach Doug Kissinger was assisted by William Freeman and Ryan Ellis. Sports medicine duties were handled by athletic trainer Andy Rankin and student trainer Mitchell Knox. Serving as manager was Ethan Franklin.
