GRANBURY CHOIRS CLAIM SWEEPSTAKES HONORS

Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center choirs excelled during the Region 7 UIL concert and sightreading contest held April 10-11, 2012, at GHS.
 
The GHS varsity mixed choir and the GHS varsity ladies choir both earned the top recognition – Division I superior ratings for both their concert and sightreading performance. In addition, all GHS and Crossland choirs received superior ratings in the sightreading portion of the competition.
 
The GHS varsity mens, the GHS junior varsity mixed choir, the Crossland ladies choir, and the Crossland mens choir received a Division II excellent rating for their stage performance.
 
Dozens of choirs from several classifications in the region were in Granbury over the two-day competition.

GHS choirs are directed by Joy Hope and Greg Doss, while Randall Walters and Cathy Terrel serve as directors at Crossland.
