SOFTBALL SENIORS RECOGNIZED AT FINAL HOME GAME

Seniors on the Lady Pirate softball team were recognized during the season’s last home game on April 10, 2012, in an 11-1 rout of District 7-4A rival Cleburne.
The Senior Night ceremony included recognition of senior players Bailey Spencer and Sidney Williams. The students were escorted by parents and family members.
Underclassmen on the varsity squad are Taelyn Beadle, Sara Callahan, Breanna Crain, Kelsey Clarke, Bailey Cole, Ashley Edes, Destini Lopez, Maci Samuelson, Whitley Tipton, and Ashley Yeary.
Head coach Chad Kimberling is assisted by Mallory Smith, Marci Davis, and athletic trainer Connie Rhodes. Others helping the team are manager Kleba McGrew and student athletic trainer Katie Siegler.
The girls finish up district play with two road games – at Crowley on April 13 and at Joshua on April 17.
