Seven members of the Lady Pirate softball team won spots on the District 7-4A all-district team following the 2012 season.
Bailey Spencer earned top honors as Offensive Player of the Year. The GHS senior was a first-team selection last year.
Receiving first-team honors were junior Bailey Cole and freshman Whitley Tipton.
On the second team were freshman Destini Lopez and sophomore Maci Samuelson. Receiving honorable mention recognition were senior Sidney Williams and freshman Taelyn Beadle.
Those on the all-district teams were:
- Offensive Player of the Year: Bailey Spencer
- First Team: Bailey Cole, Whitley Tipton
- Second Team: Destini Lopez, Maci Samuelson
- Honorable Mention: Taelyn Beadle, Sidney Williams
In addition to Granbury, District 7-4A is composed of Arlington Seguin, Burleson, Cleburne, Crowley, Everman, Joshua, and Mansfield Summit.
Head coach Chad Kimberling was assisted by Mallory Smith, Marci Davis, and athletic trainer Connie Rhodes.
