Granbury Middle School athletic teams recently honored the top Lady Pirate student athletes for their performance during the 2011-12 school year.
Eighth grade Most Valuable Players were:
- Volleyball – Darby Hammond (offense), Lexi Shea (defense)
- Basketball – Betzay Robles (offense), Hannah Backus (defense)
Among seventh grade girls, the Most Valuable Player honors went to:
- Volleyball – Kasey Ludwig (offense), Dakota Berlin (offense)
- Basketball – Kelli Davis (offense), Katlyn Backus (defense)
Heart-n-Hustle Awards were presented to eighth grader Makenna Martin and seventh grader Daishia Pratt.
