Current Granbury students needing to take exit-level state exams will have an opportunity to take re-tests, which will be administered at Granbury High School and STARS Academy on July 10-13, 2007. These tests are also open to individuals who have completed all graduation requirements but have not mastered all sections of the TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) or the TAAS (Texas Assessment of Academic Skills).
Granbury students who have not mastered one or more section of the TAKS have had the opportunity to participate in acceleration classes during summer school sessions at GHS.
The tests will be administered according to the following schedules:
Tuesday, July 10
Wednesday, July 11
Thursday, July 12
Friday, July 13
On the day(s) of testing, individuals should arrive at the test site at 8:30 A.M. Individuals must have picture identification, such as a driver’s license, DPS identification card, military identification card, school identification card, or resident alien card. Those without appropriate picture identification cannot take the test.
