The Granbury ISD Community Education Office will be offering a Drivers Education Class from July 9, 2007, through August 13, 2007. The classroom portion will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Monday through Friday in the Lecture Room at Granbury High School. Doug Barnett will be the instructor for this session.

In order to qualify for the course, students must be 15 years old before the class ends. There is a limit to 36 students per class. However, the class must have a minimum of 30 students in order to meet. If there is not a sufficient number, enrolled students will be moved to a class to be held in September.

Registration forms should be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian and returned to the GISD Community Education Office with the $225.00 enrollment fee. Forms are available in the offices of Granbury High School, Crossland Ninth Grade Center, and the Community Education Office. In addition, forms are also available on the GISD website at

Registration is currently being accepted at the Community Education Office, which is in the GISD Administration Building located at 600 W. Pearl Street. During the summer, the office is open on Monday through Thursday from 8:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M.
