Local businesses, service clubs, associations, and other organizations wishing to provide scholarships to Granbury ISD graduating seniors are asked to contact the Granbury High School counseling office.

Counselor Teddi Matheny is coordinating the program and wants to ensure correct contact information for all groups that have been donating scholarships in the past.  New organizations wishing to join the program may also contact Matheny.

Last school year, local groups contributed thousands of dollars as part of the overall $5.7 million in scholarships offered to GHS students.

GHS graduating seniors who are recipients of the local scholarships will be recognized during the Senior Awards Night to be held in May 2011.  Representatives of the local groups participate in the awards program.
