Granbury High School students recently donated $3,500 to benefit Hood County Christmas for Children. The contributions to the local charitable organization come from the National Honor Society and Student Council.
The bulk of the donations totaled $3,200 from ticket proceeds to the “Tunes for Tots” contest held on December 2. The honor society sponsors the annual lip sync contest as a community service project.
StuCo planned to donate an additional $300 to help Christmas for Children provide Christmas gifts for over three thousand local children from families in need.
