Communities In Schools (CIS) of Greater Tarrant County is part of the national and state network of Communities In Schools organizations, and, as a whole, is considered the nation’s largest “stay in school” network. Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. For the current school year, Communities In Schools is serving 55 schools, located in ten school districts throughout Tarrant & Hood County.

Communities In Schools (CIS) of Greater Tarrant County (Comunidades en las Escuelas del Condado de Tarrant) es parte de la red nacional y estatal de organizaciones de Comunidades en las Escuelas, y, por entero, es considerado el programa más grande del país para "permanecer en la escuela". Nuestra misión es rodear a los estudiantes con una comunidad de apoyo, dándoles el poder de permanecer en la escuela y tener éxito en la vida. En el año escolar actual, Communities In Schools está sirviendo 55 escuelas, ubicadas en diez distritos escolares en todo el Condado de Tarrant y Hood.
