Candidate Filing
Granbury ISD school board candidates and officeholder filing applications may be obtained from the office of Davelyn Davis, Assistant to the Superintendent, in the Granbury ISD Administration Building, 217 N. Jones St., Granbury TX 76048. Application forms include applications for a place on the ballot as well as campaign finance reports. Candidates and officeholders are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all filings. Current state law requires a candidate for trustees of an independent school district to be a qualified voter by the time required, as prescribed by Election Code Section 141.001. Filing Dates & Times
Candidates may file in person during the following office hours: Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Candidates may also file electronically via email [email protected].
Voter Registration
Voter registration information is available at https://www.votetexas.gov/register-to-vote/. The last day to register to vote is Tuesday October 10, 2023.
Early Voting
Early voting begins on Monday, October 23 and ends on Friday, November 3. Early voting dates and times are listed below and will take place at the Hood County Annex located at 1410 W. Pearl Street in Granbury, TX 76048.
Monday, October 23 thru Friday, October 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, October 28 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday, October 29 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Election Day Voting
Election Day voting is on Tuesday, November 7 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Election day vote centers are to be announced.
